Obtaining Compensation For Our Clients—And Making Our Communities Safer
At Goodrich & Geist, P.C., the number one goal is to obtain relief for our clients so they can get back on track with their lives.
Although we can't change what happened, helping individuals and their families obtain financial support for unnecessary injuries sustained as a result of the negligence of another person or entity is very important to us.
But it's not our only objective.
Changing The Status Quo As Public Safety Lawyers
At our firm, we aim to make sure the injuries that happened to our clients do not unnecessarily happen to someone else.
Part of the negotiation process in many of our cases involves remediation efforts to fix the risk. Why? Because at Goodrich & Geist, P.C., we care about our community and care about making it safer.
One Of Our Cases
In one instance, we represented an individual who suffered permanent physical injuries after a driver crashed into the storefront of a shoe store.
After an investigation, we learned that the exact same scenario occurred in the same spot, in the same storefront several years earlier — all likely because of a failure to provide any warnings or safety measures.
Our Pittsburgh law firm was able to obtain a satisfactory settlement for our client, But, as a condition to the agreement, we mandated the installation of steel guards so another person would not suffer the same fate of our client in the future.
A Continued Strive To Make Our Communities Safer
Compensate the victim, deter and prevent future negligence or carelessness — that is our goal. That is how we help make our communities safer.
